This test has been going around; literally. Try it out. I saw it as clockwise (and struggled to get it to go the other way) meaning that I use more of the right side of the brain; not a typical stereotype for an economist.

I too saw it as clockwise. I initially couldn’t get the figure to go the other way, but found that if I looked at her head, I sorta could (though the head didn’t seem to be doing a complete revolution.) Maybe this test just distinguishes between people who look at a person’s head and those that look at her (ahem) body.

Im right-sider too. I found looking at the shadow was the only way I could make it seem like she was going counter-clockwise. Cool test.

OK – I give up. I have done this twice and have no trouble getting the dancer to rotate in either direction. Want her to go clockwise – brain makes her go clockwise. Want her to go anticlockwise – same deal. Not sure what this means though!

Jokes aside: given the figure is unclothed and female, it would be surprising if heterosexual males viewed it with the logic side of the brain. to me it went clockwise.

I saw her spining anti-clockwise.
