Following up from the Hannah Montana ticket scalping story a few days ago, is another tale of a dad dealing with ticket scarcity. It concerns Hannah Montana and a sold out Chicago concert. Apparently, there was an earlier concert (several weeks in fact) in a nearby town of Moline (about 2 hours west of Chicago). He realised this and that it was not likely to be sold out as the Chicago concert was. He put his kids in the car and drove out there and bought something on the spot. A true tale of geographic arbitrage.[Thanks to Shane Greenstein for relating the story (although he is not the subject)].
