Coonan’s opinion

In a speech at the Communications Day Summit 2007, Communications Minister Helen Coonan seems to like my opinion on something:

Eminent Professor of Information Economics at Melbourne University, Joshua Gans, has conceded the proposal is “overkill” and Ross Gittins, the Economics Editor of the Sydney Morning Herald has dismissed the plan as “a waste of taxpayers’ money” and “a cynical bribe”.

Even so, I ranked Labor’s policy at No.6. I hope this means that the government is going to choose 1 through 5 when they come to announce their next broadband policy.
